We’re a group of Metro Detroit parents working together to bring an Alpha School campus to our area. We’re building the founding community of families now.
When and where will Alpha open in Detroit?+
We’re focused on the Metro Detroit area and locations will follow family demand. Tell us where you live through the Get In Touch form — it directly shapes where we open first.
What does a typical day look like?+
Mornings are two focused hours of personalized academics. Afternoons are hands-on workshops in life skills like leadership, entrepreneurship, communication and teamwork.
Is there homework?+
No. The school day is designed to be efficient enough that evenings stay free.
What ages does Alpha serve?+
Alpha campuses typically serve students from kindergarten through high school. Grade offerings in Detroit will depend on the founding families who join.
How does admissions work?+
Admissions usually include a shadow day, where your child experiences the model and you meet the guides. We’ll share Detroit dates as soon as they’re scheduled.
